PAYMENT OPTIONS:

  1. Registration fees for the current hockey season have been posted below. For registration to be considered complete, a deposit must be paid prior to your child(ren) participating in any on-ice activities and payment deadlines will be determined by HMHA at a later date.
  1. Hinton Minor Hockey is now accepting email transfer. Payments must be completed by sending your email transfer to treasurer@hintonminorhockey.com.  Should you choose to use e-transfer as your method of payment, a deposit will be required at time of registration (returning U7-$100, U9-U18-$200).  Please indicate name of child and division and if you are submitting payment for more than one child, please indicate how much you would like allocated to each child in the comments section of your e-transfer. Full payment is required by September 15.
  1. Payments are also accepted via Visa or MasterCard. Credit card payments will be subject to a 3% fee, as this is the cost for us to offer credit card payments. Please note that CC payments will automatically be split with an initial amount charged at the time of registration and subsequent payments will be July 15, August 15 and September 15. The amount charged per payment will depend on when you register your child - the sooner you register your child(ren), the smaller the payment amounts will be, as you will be eligible for more payment dates.  Should you wish to pay your fees in full without split payments, you can choose the option to pay in full at time of registration.  If you decide at a later date to pay in full, you can login to your Ramp Family Account and  “Pay Outstanding Balances”. If you wish to pay subsequent instalments via e-transfer, please contact the registrar at registrar@hintonminorhockey.com. **Note:  Visa Debit is not accepted by our system
  1. If you or anyone you know requires financial aid, in order for their child to participate in the Hinton Minor Hockey Association program, please know that there are several programs available to remove the obstacles of kids participating in Minor Hockey. Some of the programs available are:
    1. KidSport - Registrants can apply for the Hockey Assist Program (HAP) through the Provincial Fund (https://kidsportcanada.ca/alberta/provincial-fund-hap/).
Families are asked to submit page 2 of their Canada Child Benefit Notice from the most recent tax year with their application as this notice states the family net income and lists the children's names. In terms of financial eligibility, Kidsport uses the federal government low-income cut-off scale (LICO) plus an additional 30%. The chart is broken down in the FAQ's at the bottom of the link so families can navigate the requirements.
If possible please apply to Kidsport before registration so your child's hockey registration is not delayed. This information is kept strictly confidential.
    2. Canadian Tire Jump Start Program- Please visit the Canadian Tire Jumpstart website at http://www.canadiantire.ca/jumpstart/ for further information and details of the program.

NEW TO OUR ASSOCIATION?

If you are new to Hinton Minor Hockey Association there is no registration deadline you require to meet, the following additional information will be required:

  1. A copy of player's birth certificate is mandatory (please upload copy in registration system).
  2. If you have played elsewhere and have moved to Hinton, a Parent Declaration form is required. This is available online at https://www.hockeyalberta.ca/parent-declaration-form/.  Please make sure to enter HMHA "registrar@hintonminorhockey.com" in the Minor Hockey Association Submission field so that HMHA gets a copy of the submission to initiate the transfer.
  3. If you have played elsewhere and have moved to Hinton, a utility bill may be required to verify residency.
  4. If you are an import player, a Player Verification form is required.
  5. A spot on a team will be granted, provided it does not cause an overage in allowable roster size according to Hockey Alberta
